That's a good idea but I hope you don't stay petrified...you are where you are in your journey and no matter what dress you get or what size it ends up being, it's all right :) I had to dress shop before a wedding before trying to lose weight so I know how hard it can be but thankfully the dress was a good one and I'm keeping it for another wedding hopefully. Have fun at the wedding!

Alnona, how well I know the terror of clothes shopping when I feel that nothing looks good on *this* body *right now*. I feel ya! I just read your bio. You've been to hell and back, a long journey, and yet you soldier on! Staying focused on the "long game" will help you through this: Your net weight loss from your highest is nothing short of phenomenal. So, choose the most beautiful fabric you can find in the color and silhouette most flattering to you. Get a nice manicure. If you have some $$ left, choose some new earrings or a necklace. Then, *feel good* about those pluses and enjoy showing it all off.
