Right back down. I'm going to get the warning about losing weight too fast, yay! Walked last night, did some weights, working on figuring out how to anchor the under the desk bike so I don't make so much noise on calls.

Unrelated, but I think i feel the symptoms of a diverticulitis episode coming on. Even with the overnight loss, I'm puffy and uncomfortable. Wearing stretchy pants, going to take it super easy on myself and see if we can just let this one slip by with no drama. Good reason to make soup, maybe make some noodles. Also a good reminder of no matter how much you think you can control all things, you can't. It is what it is.

Good for recognizing the symptoms and planning ahead. An extended family member suffers from diverticulitis and a bad inflammation can knock her out for a week.

yeah, it's consistently about a week. I do get to eat things like rice and bread though. so there is a tiny upside.

I agree, we cannot control everything. Sometimes what I don't like about health/fitness messaging is the idea that everything is within your control and not enough humility regarding circumstances, luck and one's genetic inheritance. We can do our best but we're all working with different material.
