Up a bit, did a long walk Monday, came home and made sure to get up on the roof to watch the latest rocket launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base. After all the rains we had, the sky has been exceptionally clear. My friend in Bullhead City had almost the same photo as me, which was really cool. Couple snips in a collage, you can see the satellite drops, and you can see the orange burst which is the booster rocket getting ready to land off the Mexican coast (my guess based on where it appeared to be). I was taking video this time so that I could live in the moment and experience rather than only document staring at my lens.

Today was just really busy, work has been a bear, we went to puppy class, but I managed to get in a PR row first. This one was a HIIT workout, 30 30 second all outs with varying amounts of rest in between. The awesome part of that is that I got my heart rate up to 168 and spent 12 minutes in peak, 13 minutes in zone 3. And i lived! Then, for giggles, I took my BP immediately after (still sitting on the saddle) and it was only in the yellow zone, falling back to green two minutes later. So definite improvements in the cardio department over the past couple of years with respect to the rower. Skier is next, still gasping for air on that one when doing longer all outs, so lots of room for improvement.
