Ok so logically I can understand some but others I’m scared of such as calorie surplus to build muscle. I didn’t have that much of a surplus and I gained 10# in 7mo. BUT I’m slowly trying to get over that by including some junk and some protein shakes. Doesn’t seem like I’m eating much more so I keep the worrying down but I’m also getting 200-400 calories more to help with building muscle.

Thanks for posting this. I can totally identify here. Poor self image is a real hang up and can cause problems. I was just talking with my wife and thinking I was getting fat around the middle again...in reality it is loose skin...not fat. I have to remember that to goal is to be healthy and to live as long as possible.
