Awesome NSV -->That point while transitioning into maintenance cals when you realize your protein macros for the day have been hit, and you have over 200 cals worth of fat and carbs to play with in whatever way you like!!! Woohoooo! My fellow strength trainers know exactly what I'm talkin' about. LOL. I'm going carbs all the way. And, no people they will not be clean carbs :-)
The past couple of nights, I've had so much fun. I played with make-up! I played with colors, blending, and texture just like a 13 year old who stumbled into her mothers favorite palette. I haven't genuinely played with make-up in a very long time. Between working long hours, working out, and learning how to manage the MS this past year and a half - this favorite past time slipped through the cracks and I found myself at 45 and having to start from scratch.
I've been watching my favorite make up artists on you tube, and taking note about how to do make up on mature skin. I finally received most of the new make-up I ordered sans the liquid eye liner and highlight palette. So, Friday night after dinner I told mama I was going down stairs to play with my goodies. It felt so good and I confess this girl felt beautiful. And, yes - I did have the hair dresser pop some new color in my hair last week.
Sometimes, transformation isn't always a scary thing. It can be a fun, creative endeavor as well.
I weighed at exactly 141.8 this a.m. and then thanked the scale for a nice data point. Depending on tomorrows weigh in, I'll be. holding steady or be doing another increase in cals. I'll post this weeks maintenance calorie trajectory tomorrow.
