So, my bff asked to be my buddy here and I accepted. What do you think? I find that I vent and stress out here a lot, and not about her at all, but certainly about a lot of people she knows. I think that she could always read my journals, anyway, as I don't limit to buddies only like a lot of people, but then, imagine that I put things here that I don't even talk to my bff about and so now what do I do?
Luckily she is my friend so I will have to talk to her.

Hi abba! That's one of the delicate things when journaling about people one knows or anything about ones personal life. It becomes a permanent record of sorts, particularly if your journal is not private and open to Google spiders. In the case of your bff though, you could always go back and delete the more sensitive things. Fatsecret allows you that flexibility; so, if it's only one or two things that concern you, you could get rid of them altogether. Be advised though that once you make a post and it is indexed by Google, it is cached on their servers, and I believe that it can be usually searched out easily even if it is deleted. You can test this yourself. This can be controlled to a certain extent by the individual website, and I haven't checked how it is being handled by FS lately, but I imagine that is has not been changed. Hi Abba! Is this the person you live with? Is she on FS or is this another friend who has joined. That is definitely a hard one. The only person that I knew that was on here was Bailey and we made a pact that whatever we wrote stayed here. Maybe you can do the same. I can't believe someone would have the time to go through all your journals. lol I can't imagine wasting my time doing that so I wouldn't worry about that. I guess you will just have to think before you type. Hope this helps and is she on yet?

Yes, its a tough call. I gave the info to someone I work with - probably not smart, but she didn`t stay on long. I don`t know what to say, you have already buddied up. You will just have to think twice when you are writing. She will read all this too I am sure which will encourage some dialogue between you. If she is a good friend it should be okay. Fingers crossed.

I dunno. BFF must mean SOMETHING, right? ;) The little, kind chat about what happens at fs stays at fs is always reasonable. Besides. She's reading this, right?! :) She'll probably understand and respect the confidentiality of the board and may even feel a permission to share things she hasn't ever shared before, too.

Yes - not my roommate another friend - I guess "the talk" is going to have to do or I'll unbuddy her! And I don't know how long she'll last - she's been on since I started and didn't last either.
