On Joe's behalf, thank you John, Dians and Melissa. Both loaves look really good. Going to have some with my tea tomorrow morning and thinking about making some kind of parfait with my banana nut ice cream, for a later time. I'm so grateful for our freezer, otherwise I would in big trouble. 🥴

Wifey, he baked 2! Had a piece of the pear with pistachios and it was delicious.😋 I didn't even finish it though. Been feeling so funky lately that not even Joe's coffee cake can snap me out of it. 🤷🏻♀️

Wifey, it's never too late. I was influenced by my mother. I learned how to sew on an old Singer machine that was my grandmother's. I'm going to sew a doll for Emmylou, my granddaughter. I plan on giving it her for her 1st birthday in May. I going to try to make one a year in the image of her foremothers, on her father's side of course. I have photos of the past 5 generations, from me back to Emmylou's 3x great-grandmother. I also want to start quilting, a way to honor and remember my mother. 🧵🪡

Oh my goodness I had so many homemade dolls in my life growing up from different women in my community that could sew like no one’s business. I remember those and still love them. 🥰 Emmy Lou will be so blessed by that!! WOW, you are amazing!!!! Compliments well deserved!!! 💗💗

Bear, it's too delicious! 😋 Joe actually made 2. He gave our neighbors half of each loaf, so that hrlps with not gobbling it all up. 🙃
