Diario de Fritzy 22, 16 feb. 22

My leg is still giving me problems, especially at night. I took Ibuprofen around 6pm because of the pain and woke up in pain around midnight and took another pill. And my calf hurt last night. Not sure why I'm hurting. I do forget to ice after my walks. I walked Bobby almost an hour yesterday and instead of walking on the street most of the walk was along a trail in the neighborhood. Would think walking on dirt would be easier on the body than concrete.

Good news! My trip to the coast is back on for the full 4 nights! The lady originally scheduled to deal with my cats and all their issues doesn't have to testify in court after all so she can be here twice a day. I left Fritzy at the vet yesterday so they could get a urine sample from him. By the end of the day they weren't able to get it. They wanted to keep him overnight to get it in the morning. I said no. There is no staff at the vet office at night - just several other cats who live there. I just knew Fritzy would be scared and upset. He hadn't eaten in nearly 24 hours and I figured they either wouldn't feed him, and if they did he wouldn't eat anything. So I take him back this morning. I've rescheduled his dental surgery until after my trip. He ate all his food last night, so he isn't hurting too bad. He's been taking antibiotics for a couple of days. Now I just have to figure out how I will eat on my trip. Probably not so good, but I will try.
