Thanks Ridemariel, Erq, DP and Erika - It was fun. I had her for 4 hours. She is a shih tzu. I always see older (my age at least) people in my neighborhood walking shih tzus and wonder where they find them. My sister found a local breeder! I get my pets from rescue groups or the animal shelter. I had an adult shih tzu I got from a rescue group. They are the sweetest little things, bred to be companions. Best way to enjoy a puppy - I babysat and she slept most of the time. She had a brief 15 minute burst of energy where she ran around and played with toys and tried to chew on everything - an Amazon box, my slipper socks (on my feet!), her potty pad. Then she just crawled in her crate and slept until my sister came to get her. She weighs 2.2 pounds!
