This has been a super busy summer, but this last week has been even busier. I went from unconsciously stress-filled over eating the week before to not being very hungry this last week. I did recognize it and took care to make sure I was getting enough every day. That, coupled with being very physically active at work to prepare for a new family joining our program, dancing with our worship team at church, and all the running around getting the kids ready for school, lead to a very satisfying drop in pounds! LOL.

It's also been pretty hot, which is kind of unusual for here. Now, I get to work on avoiding temptation to satisfy my sweet tooth and emotions with the fact that Lil Miss is now in the double digits and Lil Big Man, my first born, starts high school this Thursday.

Yesterday we celebrated Lil Miss with her requested dinner of homemade biscuits & gravy made by Hubby & a homemade Oreo/Cookies & Cream cake made by yours truly. Test of my self control at it's finest this week! LOL!!!
