I've found that if I miss lunch and have a long time to go before I can get dinner, that a LOT of hot tea or vegetable broth will trick my stomach into fullness. I boil up leeks and always have that broth frozen in tupperware for such situations. Not that you have any room left in your freezer for more tupperware 😄
