Added item: the book for good gum health is "The Smile Method - How to Avoid Gum Surgery and Dentures" and comes with a gum cleaning kit. Because teeth and gums have to work together to keep your teeth in your mouth!
Staying within my points this week - missed my official weigh in because I had to take my daughter to see District 9. The movie was very exciting! I am glad I went even though it was a little scary and definitely a guy movie with lots of shooting and mechanisms and aliens!
I am going to weigh myself now and log it in. Tomorrow DH and I are going to counseling - I don't know what he has in mind but off we go.
If you are looking to make important decisions and understand whether you are happy or not, I recommend that you read "Stumbling on Happiness" by Daniel Gilbert. It has a lot of things that are so relevant to our weight loss journeys - one thing is that if you want to know if something is a good decision before you make that decision, you ask people who are experiencing what you want to experience - that is, if you want to get healthy through weight loss, you find out how a person who has done is feeling. So, the fact that so many of you, my buddies and others, are losing weight and have already lost many pounds, you know how it feels to be where I want to be. Thank you for sharing your journeys - I think I can know that what weight watchers says is true because you all say it is true: nothing tastes as good as thin feels!

Abba, the link you posted on moose's journal to the book was broken (Fatsecret makes it hard to post links in comments, you have to leave spaces and more spaces). When you get the time could you post again, or if it's easier just post the name of the book to her journal and we can look it up easily. It sounds interesting to me.

I ordered it for $2.03 but mine doesn't come with the gum kit. After spending $2,500 on dental costs recently, buying this would seem to be a no-brainer. Thanks for the recommendation!

I am glad you found a book that speaks to you and is helping. Best wishes with the counseling. It saved my marriage and we are closer than I imagined possible so I hope it does the same for you. :)
