Diario de ddrudd, 18 mar. 24

Monday. Feeling a little motion sick from having to go back to work today, with difficult and complex problems to solve sitting quietly in a room by myself, after a fun weekend full of socializing and activity. Most Mondays feel this way but I never really get used to it, it’s always a little bit of a struggle to find my zone. It was actually a lot of socializing overall last week, very fun but maybe a little too much. I always feel a little out of balance and life feels kind of too loud and busy when there’s a lot of people around. This week I want to focus a little more on “me” time.

It turns out I have absolutely no interest in doing a cut. It was cool putting on a little muscle this winter, but losing weight isn’t in the cards at the moment. I don’t want to feel more hungry and tired. I already feel hungry and tired enough just reducing calories down to equal what I burn each day more or less.

So what’s the plan? No specific plan as it pertains to a number on the scale. I have other goals: I want to continue hitting PRs in my workouts if I can. I want to continue my current diet, focusing heavily on reducing/controlling cholesterol in a sustainable way that includes meals out and plenty of spontaneity. I want to continue to build my cardio back up after having to stop for a couple months due to uncontrolled allergies/asthma (back under control now). And as the weather warms up I want to get outside a lot more.

I suspect that as a result of this lifestyle I may see some small losses or maybe some recomp. I’ll keep an eye on everything (weight, body measurements, strength, cardio, clothes fit) but I’m not going to focus hard on any specific goals unless I see something getting too far out of what I feel is acceptable range.
