Been logging what I eat. Last time I had success losing, I stuck to a calorie count so I am working on that again. Starting off slowly, but I hope to pick up steam and really get down to 1400 calories a day. Also have been eating fairly organic - I try to stick to food that comes from my Farm Share with Vermont Farmers to You, and also only shop at Costco.
One thing that helps me to stick to eating only home-made food is that fact that the food truck at work has been out of commission for the month and so basically if I don't bring it with me, I have to drive 20 minutes to get something or eat candy out of the machine at outrageous prices. Sorry for the truck owner, but good for me!
