Long day. Too many unproductive meetings. I keep agreeing to things I don't want to do and end up not getting anything done. I haven't been sleeping well, so I haven't been feeling like eating too much, but I made some spare ribs that I baked with half a jar of Ah-so sauce and 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce - cleaned out the fridge at the same time! So I have been eating spare ribs ALL WEEK - two a night. They're a little dry tonight, but maybe I did get tired of them? nahh!! They were all delish.

I went to the local diner last night and ran into a nice couple who helped encourage me about colleges for my daughter. I also got lots, too much, info on some investment stuff - soo confusing my brain hurts!

I have 4 days off next week - no conferences, bought my whole Thanksgiving meal to be picked up on Wednesday - next week will be relaxing for me!

Gotta go to the weight lifting class tomorrow and maybe my friend will give me a ride to get my new car finally!

Sounds like a good week overall. What is Ah-so sauce? I've never heard of that. Enjoy your relaxation and your new car!

I hate those meetings too and we have one tomorrow although if I feel like this I won't be going anywhere. It feels good not to cook for the holiday doesn't it? I am not cooking either but looking forward to eating someone else's cooking for a change. How do you like the car?

I still have not decided on Thanksgiving...talk about procrastination! Thanks for the reminder! Sounds like you have had your plate full and it will be nice to sit back and relax next week. :)

Ah-so sauce is a brand of "plum" sauce for spareribs - I grew up with it, and mom used to make chicken wings with it once a month. I say "plum" because the company is probably one of the original users of corn syrup and the color is NOT natural - it's deep purple!
