Hi everyone,
I heard a nice affirmation the other day:
"Progress takes time; it doesn't matter how slow you go as long as you don't stop."

I find that inspiring because I have so many ups and downs!

I had to get two cortisone shots in my knees because of bursitis - amazing that water walking could make that flare up, huh? Geesh! I got myself one of those fitbit Charge HR watches for Mother's Day and I actually really like it. I have been drinking more water and being made aware of how many hours a day I sit on my butt. It is frightening how little you can move at a desk job. I literally didn't get up the other day for 2.5 hours - I didn't even realize it until I looked at my fitbit application.

I am going to try to do the Intermittent Fasting (IF) I saw in my new Ketogenic Cookbook. The idea she presents is to eat your food in an 8 hour window and fast the rest of the time. You can have stuff like broth and tea. Let me know if that doesn't sound right to you.

Have you ever done this? If so, how did it work?

I have a job where I sit all day. I have a reminder to get up and move every hour and I take my breaks by walking.
