Hi buddies,
I finally feel in a groove with my exercise. I quit sleeping in / skipping and even got in some extra cardio this weekend.

I want to eat more vitamin-packed meals. So I think I need to ditch the McDonald's eggs and sausage and bring in some eggs with veggies. Maybe a couple strawberries on the side. It will take more planning and less laziness.

Dinner I basically eat the same thing. Chicken with spring mix and seedless cucumber. Yeah it's kind of lame b/c I don't even care if its the same thing every day. I eat dinner at work because I don't want to eat past 4. I should add some variety / veggies.

But lately I have been super hungry and I have eaten mac nuts or jello or a piece of cheese after 4. I should have bone broth instead. That way my fast isn't broken.

I think it's helpful to examine what you do so that you can pull yourself back in if you start slipping.

I think you're doing good. I don't mind eating the same thing every day. It's easier to prepare LOL.

Does eating a pickle slice break your fast? Also, last week I prepped/cut peppers, garlic, cheese(shredded), mushrooms, and spinach ready for the week so breakfast most days was a little fat in a pan, stir up the veggies, scramble the eggs and have an omelette. Prepping made the thinking much easier. And a boring dinner can be a great way to stay consistent. You're doing great!

I added the veggies to my egg scrambles - it helps in the feeling full and adding the good stuff to the meal categories. I can prep most of the mix ins the night before to make the morning a bit easier. I also have the butcher grind up lean pork and make my our patties - season them like sausage. lower fat and calories and higher protein.
