Hello friends,

Best wishes to everyone here! My weight history on FS spans a number of years. I am will work at this always, God willing, and appreciate the opportunity to be accountable and journal whenever I get a chance. I fondly remember the daily support and interchange with FS members when I first started (Oct. 2008) and I hope all is going well for them and this community currently. The only thing we can do wrong is quit!

My highest recorded weight on FS is 12lbs more than what I currently weigh. I have consistently kept this weight off now for 10+ years thanks to Weigh Down Workshop.com which I discovered in 2013. There is so much more to this life beyond food!

I am sincerely grateful for any opportunity to slow down and be mindful of eating less and moving more. While I have been a runner for most of my life, since being recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my right hip, my primary forms of exercise have shifted to walking my dog and practicing yoga. I believe that everything happens for a reason and serves a higher purpose. I fully trust that God is in control of all things and that ultimately He intends every circumstance for my good. :)
