Me either. I went through a phase that lasted WAY too long of, "if it tastes good spit it out.". I went through many bland chicken breasts and brown rice. So much time wasted.

It sounds lame but I really felt like I took the red pill in the Matrix and broke out of the prison of "clean" eating when I discovered the truth. I was set free. Yes, certain foods are that amazing to me, lol. Ice cream AND a lean body? What?! Now if only I could convince my workout partner. Funny, he talks about a certain food being unhealthy but he smokes. Cracks me up.

I'd have avoided professional bodybuilder splits since I am not and have never been enhanced. Probably would have started with full body, upper lower split, or push/pull days with a higher frequency. I'd have started counting calories from the get-go. I would have concentrated on flexibility and always used full range of motion and I would have left my ego at the door.

I think it's hilarious that you called me Double-Stuff. One of my favorite memories at my first gym was a guy saying I looked like a double stuffed Oreo in my black shirt. I remember it cracked me up! Man, it's been about 15 years now.

Exactly that’s why I appreciate flexible dieting soooo much, I really did try the low carb diet. It works, but the cost is way too high. I could not eat fruit 🍉 😢
