Slow and steady. I remind myself this isn’t a race, this is a lifestyle. Sure I have goals and I will get to them BECAUSE of my lifestyle and not because of the race.

It’s bitterly cold here in the negative wind chill. With winter storm and wind chill advisories out. We’ve been holed up all weekend watching movies and hanging out. This is when I would typically make the worst choices. However, poured a glass of wine and didn’t drink it. Made dinner Friday night and didn’t eat it all; as good as it tasted I was full, and put it away for Saturday’s lunch. Those are all NSV’s for me, and I’ll claim them HAPPILY.

This week it’s time to get back on the treadmill and start working weights back in.
