Some research on DOMS (next-day muscle soreness) and its impact on workouts.

Turns out sore or not sore... it's the quality of the workout that determines improvement. You can't necessarily judge the effectiveness of a workout by how sore you are 💪.

Also, Diablo, train your muscles while they're sore if you want... it doesn't impair your gains. In fact, JimmyPop had me doing squats every day for awhile and it actually relieves the soreness 😉.

Well, I do, I just decide what to hit hard depending on soreness because I forget what exercises I even did the day before. If the muscle is really sore, it probably needs the least attention. That's how I've always done it.
