So I wake up to this in my email 😣 This is why dieting is so hard 😂😂😂 damn advertisers!! I’m just telling myself I’ve already ate my share of donuts for the time being. This is what I ate instead (post workout). Very delicious but not that satisfying after my workout. Upper body day. Dumbbell bench, db incline bench, db OHP, and lateral raises, lats and tricep work to finish it off. Left feeling good but I feel pretty drained a few hours later. Now I’ve got to get ready for work. Just ate an Atkins bar. Still hungry 😞

Well done. Most of the time photos aren't triggering to me but the past week they were. I try to tell myself they are like monsters in a scary movie - they can't hurt me. But then I zombie into the kitchen & ... well, you know what follows.

Lolol bella I feel you! Chris there is too much fat building around my stomach. My stomach is bigger now than it was around my bday last year at a higher weight. I don’t want to sacrifice all my hard work in the gym but low carb is the only diet I’ve had success with. I’m so much stronger than I’d ever believe I’d be and I can see and feel my muscles which is exciting! But they will look even better without so much fat. My WOE has been “eat whatever I want but try not to go too crazy for too many days a week” and of course track everything and get my 150grams of protein. So I must diet 😒 even if it slows down my strength progress. I have also started adding extra cardio during my gym sessions. Instead of 5-8 minutes I’m doing 10-15 minutes. Probably not enough tho. I need to get back to 150.

The plate at the end looks wonderful to me; the doughnuts not so much. Except for ice cream (or ice cream on fruit pies or really good chocolate cake) sweets generally just don't do it for me. (I know I'm weird; daughter's the same.) I prefer salt and grease. Sorry your email is working against you, but you have continued to make great progress.

Thanks Chris! Sunday through now I slashed my cals from 2k-2.5k down to 1100-1300 I guess that was too drastic 🤣🤣🤣 A week before my NYC trip I cut down to 1900 but didn’t see any changes so I figured I’d go as low as possible. After my trip this weekend I’ll consider cutting slowly. I just want to lose it right now damn it! 😂😂 I’m not very patient when it comes to weight loss 🙃

Tom I don’t even care for donuts but for some reason their aesthetic makes me want them!! I do love pie though so that just makes it worse 😜

Chris dropping 100 cals a day is interesting. Could you elaborate? Is it 100 a day for three, then 100 more for another couple days? Then back up and repeat???

I’ve never done a cut. I don’t think. Like not a real planned structured cut. Might be time. Just for November. Would that be a good try? Is a month long enough, too long? New territory for me so I might sound unlearned! 🤓

Chris that is a long time to drop 10# when you specifically want to lose it quickly. I’ve been dicking around for a while. I should have been doing this since August 🙁
