I'm down 2.8 pounds since last Sunday (typically my goal is 1.5 pounds a week average) and 6.4 pounds since the start of the Daniel fast on the 2nd.
On a different subject, I woke early and let Bobby out around 4. Would prefer to wait until it's light because there is often a skunk outside when it's dark. But he was running around in circles by the door so I know he needed out. When I let him in I kept the lights on the deck turned on and the slats of the vertical blinds open. I was lying on the bed watching the early Sunday news shows around 6:15 when I saw something on the deck and thought it was the skunk. But then I noticed it was bigger and was looking in the window, maybe looking at me. It was a fox. I've seen them 2 or 3 times since I moved here over 8 years ago, but never on my deck. It was bigger than the other foxes I've seen which have been the size of a large cat. This fox was about the size of Bobby 25-30 pounds. Then Bobby saw the fox and started barking so he scared it off before I could get a picture. I love the nature here as long as it's not a bear or mountain lion on my deck.
