Had kids for 7 hours yesterday and it was 84 degrees, and we spent a couple hours outside having an Easter Egg hunt and letting them ride in Jack's motorized car. Drank lots of Diet Coke, but still got in my 48 ounces of water. Had a Diet Coke when I first woke up this morning, but then made some "sweet" tea with Truvia. It's not very good, but it's giving me the caffeine I crave without the other negative effects of the soda.
On the green bean front, three of my Royal Burgundy Bush beans have broken through the soil, and SIX of my purple pole beans have emerged. I've decided that their being a couple days late was due to my over-watering. We're supposed to have some rain every other day for the next week, so I'm going to just let God water them!
I'm still adrift. Just placed a pickup grocery order, and ordered a lot of junk food and stuff for making sandwiches. With CA and NY in lockdown, no telling whether VA will follow suit. Wanted to make sure I had some stuff on hand in case we aren't allowed to go out. When I started placing the order, the first pickup time available was 6pm tomorrow night. By the time I finished filling my cart, the first available was 7pm. I just went back in to check (an hour later) and now the first available is Tuesday at 3pm.
