kinda demoralizing. I've been really good about diet and exercise. yet, no real progress in building back to former level of fitness. It's just hard to keep motivated when there isn't the same level of cause and effect positive feedback I used to get from these actions.

I was watching Jeff Cavaliere from Athlean-X the other day. He talked about mixing up your exercise routine to help with gains. May need to do the same with your food intake. If you're already doing so, nevermind.

I understand. I keep getting stuck at a specific weight it's so frustrating.

It can be demotivating and it is hard, I feel the same way some days. When I first started the weight was dropping off day after day, now it takes a week or more to see significant change. I keep myself motivated by reminding myself why I started and how far I've already come. Consistency is the most important part, if you keep doing the little things consistently, they will add up over time.

I have been somewhat stalling the last few weeks so I've doubled down on cardio while not eating back the calories, seems to be melting off the last few days after my body is getting used to it.

I have set points where I always stall. Well, it can take weeks to move past them. Things I do to move past it are increasing my calories for a day or two then decreasing them - seesawing does seem to give my body a nudge. Also, I just keep telling myself that if I’m following my regimen, it’s not going to stay stuck forever. I compare it to a traffic jam - even though jams are frustrating, logic dictates that you will eventually arrive at your destination. Sometimes though I just freak and splurge!

Plateaus happen. Only way out is through. There is no finish line, just a daily journey! Good luck!
