I used to hate wash day. Knowing my jeans wouldn’t fit anymore. The worst was the seatbelt just about decapitating me, and my stomach sticking into the steering wheel so every turn I made hurt. I didn’t fit in booths at restaurants. And my husband has weighed 156# his entire adult life. I have yoyoed and wound up heavier each time.
As you lose and those little losses add up. Doesn’t seem like it but they do.
I had to lose over 100#.
Which seemed impossible. So I set an easy goal. Every 5 pounds I would reward myself with a nonfood reward. A movie I wanted to see. A mani-pedi. A new perfume. Whatever motivated me!
Those 5# goals add up.
Soon I was past the 100# on to 120#.
If a screwball like me did it and it took me till I was 61. I know you are motivated enough to do it. I believe in you Morgan.
