It is COLD in my house! Our heat pump just can't recover from the 19-degree morning temperatures. Brrr. One GOOD thing, though, is that I'm snacking less. I don't want to get out from under the blanket I have on me in my recliner. This morning, I actually ate a bowl of soup for breakfast, just to try to get warmed up. I usually ONLY drink Diet Coke, but I think I'm going to go fix a cup of hot tea, just so I can hold the warm cup.

Scale was up a pound this morning, but it MIGHT be back down again tomorrow, after the several "moving" experiences I had this morning after weigh-in.

Taking the car in tomorrow morning to see if we can get the radiator, or thermostat, or whatever the problem is, fixed. Praying it won't be too expensive! We might not even be able to drive to the repair shop (about 5 miles away). Might have to have it towed if the temperature goes up as quickly as it did for me day before yesterday. We haven't tried to drive it since then.

Good to see so many of you making great progress on your WOE's! I'll get back there someday. For now, I am just being kind to myself (in my internal dialogue) instead of putting myself down.

Sorry your house is cold. I left a message for you in reply to your question as a comment to my journal. Hope you can get your car to the repair shop without too much trouble. Hot tea is great, especially herbal late in the day.

Debbie, you should have auxiliary heat with a heat pump, it sounds like that is not working, you might want to get it checked.
