I know that only through failure do we learn.
I know that failure is not defeat unless I stop trying.
I know that failure opens doors to creativity and curiosity if we let it.
I know that through learning we grow and expand as people.
I know this. It makes logical sense. So why do we still struggle with it?
Because emotions aren't logical...

What does this have to do with weight loss?

Everything.

I am not fat because I eat too much. I'm fat because I use food for a reason it isn't intended. And that has to do with emotions. Avoidance, pleasure, celebration, companionship with others.

Emotions have become my road map instead of my compass. At this point, they aren't nudging, they're pointing and directing traffic. Emotions aren't reliable wilderness guides...

Today is going to be a good day. I hope it is for you too...
