So not how I wanted to start the month. This seems to be what I should expect after food centric holidays. I gained at Christmas and New Years.
I believe this to be a combination of things:
1. Cheat day was a day late (Sunday).
2. Easter was a carb fest.
3. I'm weighing in a day early because I am going out of town tonight for the weekend. If I were to weigh in tomorrow, I expect the gain would be less or non existent.
I hate when my routine has to change. It throws everything off.
But! I'll not let this ruin my day or my weekend.

Hey getting up and brushing off the cobwebs we all have to recommit everyday to this way of life. You sound so reasonable I would think you know how to find a happy side to this small bump. I would like to congratulate you on figuring out how or what might have sent the scale upwards but what I like is the courage to see the progress for what it is. Life and now more life. You will find that over the long run your WL will be downward trend more than a zig zag. I look forward to your next weigh in to see the bigger picture over all rather than the bumps in life. Wishing you well as you go out of town for the weekend. I so wish I could say my life was more occupied with visits like yours seems to be. Now for me to see the overall picture rather then the bumps. Easier said than done right. Good luck Amber and make your life enjoyable in many ways.
