Whoohoo! I was able to resist most candy but hey, it’s still here. Let’s be honest, I WILL eat it. Just not all at once :). One snickers & 2 tiny chocolate eggs so far & a small Hershey’s sitting in front of me since I started buying candy a month ago.
I ate tiny portions and I felt more full at gatherings than I do at home eating more. Psychological? Anyway I’m happy with this slight loss considering I missed my 2.7 mile walk this weekend and it’s cold so I’m stuck with the gazelle that doesn’t have a working pedometer thing. Less than an hour a day and I’m getting 2.2 miles on it based on another app. Health app doesn’t record correctly(was always lower than my pedometer that I lost) so I now strap my phone to my leg using an arm band and the app counts it for me. I find that to get my heart rate up the tiniest bit I have to go as hard and fast as I can on the thing and it starts rocking so... safety being an issue around 3 kids and 2 cats I choose not to worry about heart rate and just keep a quick steady pace similar to the 3.1-3.2 mph I walk.
