A combination of both. You have to find a way that works for you. No fad diets but a plan you can live with for life.

I wonder why this forum seems like a breeding ground for misled individuals. Maybe they are hired by Fung, the charlatan.

@Whole u can lose weight on a Twinkie diet, eating healthy has nothing to do with weight loss

The difference is we acknowledge any way of eating can work, you guys say the "answer" is low carb. No, it's just one option and is only superior for someone if it helps them control their energy intake..

It’s math. The calories in “healthy” food work exactly the same way calories in unhealthy food do: if you eat more calories than your body uses => fat.

I think the debate here is the semantics. The quiz is about weight loss and, yes, a deficit will result in loss vs better food choices will hopefully yield better health. But any excess is going to result in a gain if the energy doesn't exceed the intake. That may seem hypocritical of me as I'm limiting carbs and sugar due to being diabetic but the self imposed restriction wasn't for weight loss but rather to help lower blood sugar. Rosio I hope this doesn't put me in the troll category. I self elected myself as the voice of reason. 😆😆😆😆😆

@keyten I've been hitting those ranges fairly consistently for about six weeks but that's with still taking the meds. My goal is to eliminate those at some point.
