First pork chops in the air fryer. No breading, just spices. Gotta say, I’ll be doing more of these, they were so easy and cooked in 16 minutes. I eat too much chicken anyways. Good to switch it up.

I didn't really use a recipe. Each chop was about 3/4" to start, so I preheated the fryer to 400, then decided that 16 minutes was probably about enough time to cook. I sprayed with grapeseed oil, salt, pepper, Costco salt-free seasoning, paprika and garlic powder on each side. Put 'em in, flipped them when the machine beeped and that was it. They really were flavorful. I'm going to try the same technique on a whole chicken tomorrow since I'm cooking for the work week. I'll do that a little early and treat it like a dry brine.

I've been thinking of getting one. That does look wonderful. Have you tried making crunchy snacks like thin-sliced root vegetables? My downfall is wanting to snack with television. I usually eat 1/4 cup of mixed nuts each day, but it would be nice to change it up.

That looks fantastic! I personally find it weird and mostly disgusting the thousands of food pics shared but this picture makes me want a pork chop now!

I will try those, I made pork chops once in air fryer but they were dry. Cooked to long?

These chops were perfect inside. I tried them because it was an inexpensive package and only two chops. Perfect to learn. I used the highest heat to sear, which seals the moisture. I was not sure if 16 minutes would be enough when I started, but it really was. I post pics because I'm actively learning a new tool. I'm getting better on the veggies. Thinner is better if you can't parboil white potatoes (spiralized were great, but that's yet another process), I'm still working on perfect sweet potatoes that don't have any coating, it's tricky. I'm thinking tomatoes and bell peppers might be interesting. Today, I'm cooking a whole chicken for the work week. It's fresh, so going to try air fryer only, no pressure cooking. I'm going to treat it like a tiny turkey and get some herbs and salt under the skin. We'll see. If it's a fail, I'll make it into soup. Summary: I'm learning, it's a process. Use spices and grape seed oil. 😉

Keep up the air fryer posts! I have been looking at them for quite sometime, and am still on the fence because I have limited storage space in my kitchen. BTW, what brand is yours?
