I know. I have felt so sad for so many during the isolation - weddings, births, funerals, etc., that could NOT get together, period... I'm not imagining I'm some special snowflake. And I know there's more to life than this. I'm just saying... getting old didn't make me any more mature. It's my birthday. I'll cry if I want to. (( Not really crying .. don't worry.))

My daughter turns 12 tomorrow. Nothing we can really do. We usually go to a local mexican joint and she wears a sombrero and they sing to her- has a sleepover- etc... I told her we could do it at home. David is wondering if she would want some police to drive by in a parade- that seems to be the thing to do- firetrucks and such- but she may be too old and too cool. BD cake on fire comment cracked me up. I hope you have a great day! 💕
