What a beautiful view! 

So where is that? 

Altadina, northeastern suburb of LA. hiked up about an hour, moderately steep trail, made it about half way to top. Really pretty view despite more than usual haze. Hope to go back on a clear day and go to peak.. 

You could have waved to me, was just south of you in Alhambra. 👋😊 Years ago we used go hiking, the entire family, usually in the San Gabriel mountains. Many hikes led to a waterfall. I very much miss those days. Glad you had a nice hike. 😊

Have you hiked to the old Mt. Lowe railroad, or the famous tunnel to nowhere?  

Have you ever hiked down the 1000 stairs to the hidden WWII Nazi villa at a canyon bottom in downtown LA. Due to be dismantled, I just don’t know when off the top of my head. Very Erie but also pretty as nature has begun to reclaim it.
