My weight is still a little higher than it was nine days ago, which is about when I doubled the dose of Glycopyrrolate. It’s hard to lose weight when everything you eat stays in your bowels! I’ve started Magnesium, taken the maximum dose of Dulcolax for three days, tried Fiber Gummies, increased water-drinking and yesterday I added maximum dose of stool softeners. I don’t think I could bring myself to try the suggested prune juice/Milk of Magnesia concoction unless I get truly miserable. I’m seriously considering reducing the anti-sweating medicine back down to one pill a day. It was working very well, though not “perfectly.” I’m not uncomfortable with the constipation, except for the fact that I know I should be going to the bathroom and I’m not. No pain or cramping. Any other suggestions I’ve missed?

I too have been meaning to mention something about Magnesium. You don't say what form you are taking. Oxide is the most popular because it is the least expensive but I've heard it is only about 6% absorbed. It is the Citrate form as madamelaine says that will stimulate the bowels. My husband takes that because constipation is a constant problem for him. I could never handle Citrate because my stomach is way too sensitive for it and I tend to go the other direction. He usually takes 2 pills of it daily. I wouldn't even be able to handle one. I have to take some form that is particularly gentle like Glysonate or there is an expensive one something like Taurnate, close to that name that I haven't bought for several years. If I don't take enough Magnesium I get heart palpitations and leg cramps. I think the Oxide form might be worthless for what you want it for. I usually order my vitamins from SwansonVitamins.com online and usually try to wait for a sale which they have for their own brand even more often than for most. Shipping is 4.95 total for your entire order but is usually free on their sales. They are a large company and have a good reputation as far as I know. Their own brand is less expensive and they usually have a couple of quality levels, with the top being "very fancy". I trust their basic quality levels.

I went ahead and called the doctor who prescribed the Glycopyrrolate. Waiting for a return call. This morning I tried yet another remedy: three sugar-free peanut butter cups (a 225-calorie laxative!). Usually two will make me urgently have to go. It’s been three hours and … nothing. I’ve only gone once in a week, and that was a painful 40-minute ordeal! @Snowwhite100, the Magnesium I’ve been taking is the Oxide one. Thanks for the differentiating between the kinds. If all else fails, I may get the Magnesium Citrate liquid in the morning. That has worked very well for me before. Or Dulcolax suppositories. Or BOTH! Something’s gotta give!
