Mmmm dear jerky I like it spicy.  

Curious as to whether you bothered with the processed bar. Homemade deer jerky, as controversial as it is, is still 1000% the better choice. I’m sure it tasted better, too.

Teriyaki is my favorite 😋 

My hubby likes those bars but agree the deer jerky would be a better choice. 

is pure protein or premier protein that got sued for having almost no protein in their drinks?

JustBananas I use the protein bars as my option of last resort. I was running late this morning and grabbed a bunch of stuff to eat on the way out the door a few protein bars being some of them. I didn't realize I had jerky in the bottom of the bag until snack time that's what prompted the picture the jerky is way better option. so I didn't eat the bar pictured but I did have another one a few hours earlier. I eat them sparingly

Redporchlady I think the Pure protein ones are a much better option then a lot of the other ones out there and I do eat them occasionally but the marketing makes me laugh 200 calories and only 80 of those calories are from protein and that's one of the higher protein to fat and carb ratio bars out there. they serve a purpose in my diet form time to time but they really shouldn't be a go to option for people looking to increase their protein Intake  

All_Pain_No_Gainz I know pure protein was sued for tricking consumers into thinking they were buying a giant tub of powder and only filling less then half way lol 

I love jerky! My husband makes it on our traeger smoker! Yummm 

Yeah, I eat those protein bars occasionally, but they aren't a good supplement for real food!! Good jerky is hard to find! 

I have trouble with the taste of the bars & drinks. I try to get my protein from food(which is why enjoyed shrimp with my dinner). The hard part is if I’m traveling. I may grab a bag of carrots for traveling snacks
