I’m guessing they’ll try and get you right in. It is truly a world class hospital. In the meantime, enjoy yourself and know that we’re all thinking about you. If you’ve never done a whale watching cruise, it’s magic even if you only see the dolphins.

New development. I guess blood work shows I have a lower respiratory infection. Probably related to covid I had a few months ago. I feel fine, didn't even know. They cannot schedule surgery till that clears up. Dr said maybe 2 weeks. They put me on an antibiotic and have me doing advair twice a day plus singular at night. 🩷

Katsolo, we have been whale watching before, both here and in Newport. We were lucky, saw whales both times. We don't have much free time. My husband is helping my sister move in and I've been busy helping my other sister with my mom and also going to all my test and appointments.
We are hoping to go a few places when I have to come back for follow up.🩷

Diana, my love. I know you aren’t going to want to hear this but you need to lay low and rest. You need all your energy to go to being as well as possible. Take it easy ok. Problem with damaged lungs is that we get respiratory issues much easier than those with healthy lungs. So glad they caught it beforehand. Remember to rinse your mouth after treatment with and advair (thrush). You’ve been in my thoughts and prayers sweet girl.

Oh goodness!! I am sorry that you are going thru all this but glad you like the surgeon and the facilities. I am disappointed for you on the respiratory infection and hope that clears up soon with the meds. I had such a hard time last year with my lungs so hoping this year is better. Need to get my flu shot but have been reluctant and I am going to ask the doctor about pneumonia shot. Have you had your flu shot? I was just curious if they recommend before the procedure? I know when I was diagnosed with cancer that was the first thing they had me do was get my flu shop before I started chemo. Prayers headed your way!

Rpl, The Dr didn't mention flu shot but hospital called and asked if I wanted one. It is free to patients. I was going to ask Dr next time I see her. Thank you for your prayers.🩷🩷🙏🙏 YOH, Thank you, I am trying to take it easy but it's like a madhouse down here between my mom coming home from hospital, up one day, down the next, and my sister needing help getting moved in. I'm feeling much better about surgery since I saw this amazing Dr. Katsolo was so right about this hospital. Glad we opted to go here. 🩷🩷

Katsolo, I dont know my password so I'll ck when I get home this weekend. You are right about million dollar houses! My sister lived in a 2,000+ sq ft house in Sacramento. It was a beautiful ranch style. She sold it for $750,000 range and purchased a 1200 sq ft ranch here in Chula Vista ( her son lives here) for significantly more. Crazy but it is beautiful here! Lots of walking trails and parks!
