He knows that when we meal prep I am less stressed out during the week. It stresses and annoys me when I get home and hubby says he did not feed my children cause there is “no food”. Also meal prepping is a great strategy for weight control 😏

Nice that DH cooks. I agree in less stress when you have some prep done. When I worked crazy hours and the kids were home I usually had the crock pot going in the am or something already cooked thawing or ready to heat up (I had 2 huge freezers so cooked in bulk). Also a meal plan tacked on the frig for the week.

We do enough for 2-3 days and I’ll cook some caldo 🍲 in the middle of the week and 1 day of take out in the middle of the week as well
