En mi casa sabes que es Navidad cuando todas las cajitas del calendario de adviento están vacías y se abre la veda de los dulces navideños tras hacer cagar el tió.

In my house you know it's Christmas when all the little boxes in the advent calendar are empty and the season for Christmas sweets is open once the kids made the tió poo. No
e: The Tió is a big piece of cut wood with two or four stick legs and a broad smiling face painted on its end wearing a traditional Catalan "barretina", a little red sock hat. On Christmas Eve the log is supposed to poo presents for children (yes, you got it right!), but I transformed the tradition and it poos Christmas sweets.
