25 pushups (2019 PUSH UP Challenge!)

Increasing my pushups by one a day is starting to be a real challenge. I think I will be able to do about 30 pushups, but it will be REALLY hard to do more than that without stopping.

Normally I would be on a 'no solid food' fast today, but my Mother and I plan to make macaroni and cheese casserole today (recipie). This *requires* taste testing and when I do a 'no solid food' fast I *make no exceptions*. So, If I eat *any* solid food, it is *not* the 'fast'.

I plan to hit the gym today so that I can skip tomorrow, yet still get in my 3 weight lifting sessions a week. Yesterday I was able to easily maintain my 200lbs lifts.

add 5 pounds if you are eating that macaroni and cheese might as well take advantage of the extra carbs!

@Baskington - Haha! The only ting that sucks is that I could not get the timing right to do the workout *after* the macaroni and cheese :)

Sounds like a fun afternoon cooking with your mom and mac and cheese is so delicious! Good luck with the push ups and way to go with those weights!

Thanks everyone! I got the workout in (200lbs lifts still locked in) and made the macaroni and cheese. I'm already on a 155 carb binge. Seriously thinking about hitting the gym tomorrow AND a run before Thanksgiving dinner...

do you not get keys when you get a membership Tina gym? 24 hour access is standard in Aus. 30 pushups is a great start but you can aim alot higher in think mate

@keith george cooke - My gym is almost 30,000 square feet. I would not want *any* responsibility by having a key :) :) I agree 30 pushups is not enough, and before the "Challenge" is complete I will have to almost double that! :)

That's a strange concept to me lol. Not having 24/7 access. In Aus every member at every gym gets a key.

I can travel 3000km across Australia and my key will get me into a anytime fitness,zap or GoodLife gym at 3am if I want hahahaha. Guess I took that for granted. It's a great business model you should start a 24/7 gym franchise in Dixie land, you would have a tonne of $$$ lol

My dearest gym is $60 a week my others are 2 @ $15 and 1 @ 10 it's easy to remember as I have to budget $100 for them hahahaha. IV seen pics of American gyms they are onboard size wise with some of our franchise gyms like GoodLife.

At today's a change rate I'm paying $290 American a month or their abouts for the 4 gyms

I did some pushups just now. Elbow ain't up to it guys but got out 60. Now where is my Voltaren lol

Increasing by 1 each day?! That does sound intense! Keep at it! If you have to stop, then stop, rest and keep going! Have a happy thanksgiving!
