mankind has survived for a while without stressing about it so i suppose if you eat a nice variety you will be fine. That is my theory and I seem to be healthy

Nutrition...nutrition...nutrition! My nutrition plan includes foods from all the food groups spread out through the day. The only supplement I take is an omega 3 pill in the morning and my protein supplement, morning and post workout. I get all my vitamins in my foods.

The reality is, our bodies are different. I eat and have been a very nutritious variety of food. We absorb nutrients differently. Based on climate, nutrition, medical conditions. For instance MS, Autoimmune disorders, the common factor is Vitamin D deficiency, It DOES NOT mean those afflicted stayed out of the sun. There is a link between these issues and low D. Having these issues can affect the way a body absorbs this particular vitamin. Just eat healthy and there’s no shame in supplements.

Hi, as a RP can recommend that, if you are eating a healthy, balanced diet no need to take vitamins, but there is needs to take multivitamins: in winter time, if you often get sick, not balanced diet, if you often in stress or need to work extra physical or mentally work, or both. I hope I was helpful. 😊

Where I live there is a Life Nutrition, where you can get tested, and they can give you a print out of where you are deficient., You can then take it from their !!! I take supplements, even though I try to eat healthy !!

I take a multivitamin in case I’m missing something but, if you eat a range of foods, you’re likely to get what you need. 💊 Vitamins is a big industry and you should give their advertising the same scrutiny you give any other company.

IMHO the industry has done a fantastic job in making us believe that we NEED all these supplements. How else would they make massive profits??? Just look at whey protein. They weren't allowed to dump this by product of cheese making into the rivers anymore , so somebody clever turned into a powder and sold/sells it for lots of money to humans which then can pee it out.

I would recommend getting tested to see if you are deficient in any area. Then you can make an informed decision from there.

Just a side note, if you're taking a multivitamin, it's best to take it before bed. It allows your body to absorb the vitamins more thoroughly. Think about it: How many times do you go to the bathroom overnight verses during the day?

So, pretty much there is no set weekly meal plan that anyone knows which contains all of the vitamins and nutrients we need... I'll keep looking. I am not into multivitamins because I dont want to overdose on vitamins. I want all of my vitamins and nutrients through food naturally. I'm guessing that it is hard to find the answer because we are averted to advertisements instead of answers. Maybe it's not possible to get all of the essential vitamins and nutrients in a 2000 calorie diet?! If so, maybe then and only then, would I ever consider a vitamin in my diet and that vitamin would,,,, geez, this is turning into a rant. Hey guys, have a great week! I'll be digging around for answers. If anyone knows of an answer, again, please let me know!

let us know if you find it. I think they are recommended daily for a reason I am sure if you had more of something one day and less the next you would live just as long as if you did not. There may be a good reason why such a menu suggestion is hard to find. Too many numbers to work through

I recently found out that, ages ago, before man learned to cultivate crops, he mostly lived on fish and game. Eating "nose-to-tail," these societies got all their nutrition from those sources. Some people eat 4 ounces of liver per week, for its nutrients. Don't like liver? Some people grind in into ground beef, or freeze and cut it into pieces small enough to swallow whole, or load liver into veggie gelcaps. See https://www.stephgaudreau.com/beef-liver-nutrition/

Liver isn't complete, of course, but whole, real foods are a good bet to get most of the nutrition you need.

Liver jello is a thing?

"Jello"? No, it's not a thing. Was it something I said? ;-)

Maybe my imagination just took me there. I also heard that liver is nutritious.
