Diario de Debbie Cousins, 06 feb. 20

Weight surprisingly going down, even though I'm still eating anything I want. I'll take it! I DID get in about 16oz of water yesterday (better than NONE). Go for my final check of my tooth implant today - the end of an almost-a-year process of replacing my eye tooth! I feel SO much better with having all my teeth again! (Well, I am still missing a back bottom molar, but it doesn't show when I talk or smile.) Hope everyone is off to a great start today and in a good place for their mid-week goal achievement! Be blessed, friends!

You know I see all these folks eating half a head of lettuce and squash salad, etc, and that’s okay. But it’s not for everyone. You have to be happy and enjoy eating. So my rule of thumb for me is baby steps. Maybe substitute mustard for mayo, that’s less cals or if you drink 3 cokes a day make it 2 and stick a 16oz bottle of water with each meal! That’s a small change and you don’t have to do it all at once, choose a small goal. I promise your body will notice and you won’t go into oh God I’m on a diet again mode. It sure helped me

You got it Debbie. Look at the foods that you love and enjoy eating and see if you can make a tweak here and there or a substitution or a slight portion decrease. Deprivation diets seldom work. It’s all about making healthIER choices most of the time and less than healthy choices once in a while.
