Diario de JMA312, 02 sep. 20

Day #4 of 5 days on Attack phase D-Plan :-) Feeling good, of course I occasionally think about grabbing something not on my woe but at least the intense cravings aren't there. Fortunately I don't have any non-plan foods/drink in the house nor $ to send out for take out/delivery so that helps. I haven't had any alcohol in over 4 weeks, I think that also has helped. That will change this weekend Food & Drink will be in the house in abundance. I just want to remain strong through it all and then I think the 'beyond weekend' will be much easier. My kids & grands are coming into town and there is a birthday celebration planned. I know they won't mind and maybe not even notice too much if I don't partake in the ice cream cake or take out meal of either pizza (eeekkkk one of my trigger foods ice cream AND pizza), or Thai food but will I be able to stay STRONG? Right now I am saying "YES I will be for ME". I plan on keeping busy with my grands and making sure I am drinking ALOT of water and maybe flavored seltzer for a treat. Just need to have a plan for when the food, drink & snacks are making their appearance!
No "ghost" contact, but as I said tomorrow will be the day I reach out to him to extend the Birthday celebration invitation, but not sure he will even answer his phone or reply to any text. I guess I'll just deal with it when it happens. I honestly need to keep in my mind that I do NOT have any control over him, his response to anything. I can only do what I can do and let the other STUFF go.
UGGGG that is so difficult to get through my brain and remember it, but 'such is life'.

half the battle is acknowledging areas you want to work on. You are showing so much strength with not drinking and avoiding foods that will be tempting. keep it up. 🙏😷😉
