Diario de newnormal, 27 ene. 21

Momma is finally home. Went home with hospice now but it will be a support and a tool to use to have the best life, day by day. As she said, she's not dying today, tomorrow or next week. So we enjoy each day as it comes and she has a lot of stuff to do. The level of care is scaled by her needs so she gets to stay as independent as she can/wants but has more medical oversight and a lot more help. We're using their company name Cornerstone instead of "hospice" because of how the words are viewed. Mom explained it that Hospice always sounds like you're going home to die. Cornerstone is going to help her live. I'm good with that.

Ate good for most of the day, ended up dipping into 2 small choc chip cookies because of the timing. Took FOREVER to get transport so we didn't get actual dinner.

BUT. I stayed steady and lost a little. Kinda impressed. Today will be an "on plan" day and tomorrow spend with my kids I think. I need to fill them in on Mom.
