I have read that your diabetes is out of control, you have neuropathy and at 2018 you were thinking of gastric by pass. I know a lot of persons that had the short or long bypass, they have reached a normal bodyweight, they maintain it and they are off all medication. They now have normal blood pressure and have no longer diabetes. No more insulin. There is a tiny failure percent but the majority live a whole new life.
