Hi Fat Secret gang! I finally started losing again! I am finishing up an 86 hour fast and yesterday I had a cool experience - I did an infrared sauna. It is such a more gentle heat than a regular sauna! It was 130 degrees and it doesn't burn out your lungs like a regular dry sauna. You just sit there and sweat out toxins. I did it because I hadn't lost weight since I had that coronavirus shot over a week ago. So that's why the 3 day fast and sauna. Plus I went to the gym a few times, walking 30 minutes on the treadmill.
I'm so happy I'm in the 280s now! Hurray!

Nice loss! 86 hour fast, I've never gone that long. 72 hours is the best I've done and it does help when you want to start losing.

@Fritzy22 - The only reason I stretched it to 86 hours is I would have been done with 72 at 8 pm and I didn't want to eat that late so I figured I would just wait until this morning! I'm going to do a 5 day next week! That's the longest I ever plan to do.

Thank you everyone! Yes I am pretty motivated these days. I got off of my insulin and I want to stay off. I'm trying to put my diabetes into remission with a good A1C which I will get in April!

I have to hand it to you Shell, you are really a rock star! I can't imagine going that long fasting unless I was stuck on some desert island with nothing at all to eat. WOW!!! I bought an infrared sauna a few years ago and put it in my "mancave" it is great. I often sit in there to start my days off.
