Diario de Danana, 12 jun. 21

I have gained just over 11 pounds since April due to stress eating. I am acknowledging this so I can own it and change it. It’s a beautiful day. I am going to take a walk and do some strength training when I return. I am going to make smart food choices in proper portions going forward. I am only going to eat when I am hungry.
83,7 kg Disminuído hasta ahora: 2,3 kg.    Aún para ir: 16,6 kg.    Dieta seguida: Bien.

Danana, I like that you are speaking your truth! There are plenty emotional eaters here, including me, and we can just encourage each other. One decision at a time gives you control again!🤗

One more thing we emotional eaters should do, is to work on what triggers our behaviour and think ahead of our destructive self...It also takes some time for a habit to be weakened and time can be hazardous. I wish you all the mental clarity and stability that you'll need!

So true Patricia. My biggest stress right now is my dad’s illness. I have to stop soothing my feelings with food as the situation isn’t going to change any time soon and most likely not for the better.

Food is such an opportunistic ally,it destrusts us from real health with it's brief reward,like a drug, exactly what your giving self isn't in need of...Mine too,of course...smart choices we need,as u said xxxxx
