Today begins the long, slow road to recomposition.

No more intentional overeating... At least not daily. I'll still have my 3000+ calorie days on Mondays and Tuesdays, but the rest of the week will be much less than before to maintain a weekly average.

Nothing too dramatic, so the scale might not even move... Or it may plummet... Or it may just throw its digital hands up and ask why do I even bother to weigh in anymore.

Anyhow, I had my body scan yesterday and I'm at 21% body fat. I wanna get that under control finally.

Here goes nothing. Literally, nothing. Like, if I hadn't said anything, anyone reading this wouldn't have known lol.

been doing recomp for 2 months now. Have to admit it's hard not to feel disappointment in the scale but definitely look leaner and feel stronger. Goodluck 👍

I'll look like 195 @ 175 in a few months, so I'm with you in spirit. The scan revealed that of the ~30lbs I put on since last year was only 12lbs of lean mass... I've gotta unstuff the turkey for a minute and then climb back up.

Since July of last year 💪. I agree it was a good year, but I would prefer a 1:1 balance. I just learned to love overeating a bit too much lol.

The goal is to lose 3lbs of fat a month. Keeping the protein really high and adding some extra lifting sessions for more burn and slight muscle development. I'm gonna check my stats via In-body scan every month to see the progress. I won't be under with the fat loss, but I may see more than 3 if I get motivated enough to wanna bulk again lol. There's a light at the end of the tunnel... Or is it a donut?
