I had insomnia a couple weeks ago.
Very bad, couldn't sleep longer than an hour at a time. Very little REM sleep, no deep sleep. It was giving me psych issues.
Because I had been in a caloric deficit for 4 months.
So I did a week of refeed, gained back 7lbs, and now I sleep 6-8 hours a night, 3 hours without waking up.
I'm going back to a 500 calorie/day deficit, but will pay closer attention to how I feel.
