No way. I make one meal, even for the little ones. I take them around the world with Asian, Mediterranean, American... Very seldom do I hear a complaint. They are used to very varied meals by now, so that's the key ;)

Immort my hard working never overweight, active husband and my 2 toddlers deserve to eat delicious calorie dense meals once in a while. 😉

Same with my fam. The trick is the portion size. Smaller for me, bigger for him, delicious for everybody. I'm not surviving on lettuce, on the contrary. Eg: chicken curry with less rice for me, big-ass bowl for my man. Tonight quesadillas: I'll get 2, my kids 1, my man will get 4 with extra meat and cheese. ;) I find the FS cookbook amazing for that because all recipes I create I decide on the serving size for me. The rest of the fam are free to eat as much as they like.

I only eat lettuce and chicken so that’s why I must cook 2 meals 🙃

Last time I was very upset at my husband, he ate my oil free enchiladas. When I asked him why he would eat my enchiladas and not his he responded “they taste the same”

I make one main dish we all have, but will also have sides available like bread, rice, potatoes or noodles that I skip in exchange for a double serving of veggies. Of course that's because hubby is rail thin and the granddaughter is growing like a weed.

Nope...its different meals most time in my home too.. my hubby is so picky and wont eat any veggies so he eats differently than I do at times .. and my college student daughter will eat anything but way different hours lol so I fix my hubby things he likes...then what I want ..and when I do 16 hrs its fend for yourself that day lol

Something similar happened here, too. I had chicken breast, broccoli quesadilla and avocado on the side. They ate rice, beans, chicken, avocado.
